Educational Use Only

MedicoHub Connect is intended for non-emergency educational communication and follow-up support. It does not provide diagnosis, prescriptions, emergency care, or a substitute for direct medical assessment. For urgent symptoms, contact local emergency services or your treating clinician directly.

Information We Collect

• Account details such as name, email address, role, preferred language, and optional mobile number.
• Authentication information handled through Firebase Authentication. We do not store your password in plain text on our servers.
• Questions, comments, doctor replies, education article comments, and moderation history created inside the app.
• Optional uploads such as images, documents, audio notes, or links that you choose to attach.
• Device and app diagnostics needed to improve reliability, security, and support.
• Advertising identifiers and ad interaction information where Google AdMob or Google Play services provide ads or related measurement.

How We Use Information

• To create and manage your MedicoHub Connect account.
• To route questions to the appropriate doctor or administrator.
• To show your question history, public threads, education articles, and app notifications.
• To support moderation, safety review, account deletion, and abuse prevention.
• To operate app updates, diagnostics, and service reliability checks.
• To display and measure ads where advertising is enabled.

Third-Party Services

MedicoHub Connect may use trusted service providers to operate the app, including Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, database, storage, email, and app infrastructure; Google Play services and Google AdMob for ads and app platform services; Fly.io for backend hosting; GitHub Pages for this public website; and Apple or Google app distribution services.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be visible to the user who created it, the doctor assigned to a question, administrators who support moderation and service operation, and other users when content is intentionally marked public. We may disclose information if required by law, platform policy, safety needs, or to protect the app and its users.

Account Deletion

You can request or initiate account deletion from inside the app where available, or contact doctornerves@gmail.com using the email address linked to your account. Account deletion removes or de-identifies the personal account profile where practical. Some records may be retained where required for safety, security, legal compliance, audit integrity, or moderation history.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain records, support moderation, resolve disputes, comply with obligations, or improve reliability. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

MedicoHub Connect is not designed for unsupervised use by children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy as the app changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
